Luohan Bed

The Luohan bed is a very colloquial name, and no scholar can accurately explain its origin. There are many styles of Luohan beds, but the basic design involves three sides of a wall, with one side facing forward. Some believe the Luohan bed evolved from the Maitreya couch. Gradually, after the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Luohan bed became a tool for entertaining guests. Two people can recline and chat on it, somewhat like a large two-seater sofa.

Plank Bed
A plank bed, consisting of a basic headboard, footboard, folding side rails, and a frame, is the most common style. Although simple, the headboard and footboard can create different styles; the streamlined sled bed is the most popular style. If space is limited or you don't want to feel restricted, you can omit the footboard to make the bed feel larger.

Four-Poster Bed
Originating from the four-poster beds used by European nobility, this style allows for the most expansive and romantic imagination. Classic four-poster beds feature intricate carvings representing different periods and styles; modern country-style four-poster beds can be decorated in a more lively and personalized way by using different patterned fabrics.

Bunk Beds

Bunk beds are the most common type of bed in homes. They save space, and when one person moves out, the upper bunk can be used to store miscellaneous items.

Day Beds

Common in Europe and America, day beds resemble sofas but have deeper cushions, providing a place for short naps during the day. Unlike other types of beds, day beds are usually placed in the living room or entertainment room, rather than the bedroom where you sleep at night.

Sofa Beds

Transformable furniture that can be assembled to suit different needs. It can transform into a sofa and disassemble into a bed. A convenient piece of modern furniture for small spaces, it's a combination of a sofa and a bed, hence the name sofa bed.
